They also show "outlet" inventory for each store online and sometimes that is worth looking over. So, if you are looking at stuff on the outlet site, that's how it works. It showed up again on the outlet site the morning after the call which just happened to be Friends and Family day and so my decision was made. I had thought it was gone when they pulled it and then got a call a week later as one of the salesman had kept my number and thus got my deal. They actually finally pulled it from the outlet site as the part wasn't in (the stand/blade cover).

The minute they post it it goes online through the outlet site (well as soon as it gets through the system/18 hours or so.) Each store can set their initial price but it looks like the initial price is around the very best sale price including discounts generally speaking.

I believe the store can establish the designation e.g. Essentially, when a store takes something back they assess whether to trash it or fix it or just put it back out.
